which is better stock a 2004 mxzx 440 sno pro or a arctic cat sno pro 440. and what are the top speeds of the sleds? thanks
I'd personally take the MXZ, but as for the top speed, i couldn't tell ya that..do a internet search for them and you should be able to come up with something more than what i can give ya

can I use a racing snowmobile for trails?
I found a snowmobile that I really like. However the guy made it a race ready sled. He only raced it twice, but it has a clutch kit, racing heads and a hot shot button. I was wondering if this would be ok for some trail riding... I do a lot of gunin and runin but i like the trails to... also do the mods that he put in hurt the engine or make it more likely to break down? it is a 2004 arctic cat 440 sno pro if that helps. thanks
is the sled good for me. I like to barrel ass through trails, i like to hit jumps, and do a little drag racing across fields...
Well you will certainly have the power to barrel a$$ through the trails when you need to. Just keep it in a lower gear while riding on the trails as you will want to watch for obstacles or other riders. Open it up when you can, why waste such a nicely tuned machine.
But, can you buy an equivalent machine that is newer and not so tricked out for the same $$ or less? Think about it, why buy what you can't utilize. Nice to brag about, but it is almost 5 yrs old.
