How to soften up a new leather motorcycle jacket?
I recieved a leather motorcycle jacket for Christmas and I want to know a way to soften it up a bit. Since it's new it's really stiff and it's uncomfortable to wear. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?
Thats really typical of newer leather garments. Bike Jackets especially can be made of much tougher leather which tends to be really stiff. I had a similar problem and all i can tell you is that you can try rubbing mink oil into it it helps a little....secondly keep the jacket somewhere warm and dont let the leather get cold...and lastly just wear the heck out of it.....thats what I did with mine.....you wear it enough and youll be suprised how fast it loosens up for you......
