why tourists visiting a snow-covered peak are advised to wear sunglasses?
Too much ultraviolet light can affect the eyes and even cause snow blindness. Snow (which is pure white) reflects all photons of every wavelength while a black object absorbs most photons (that can not reach your eyes). A lawn absorbs all photons except those that you perceive as green. Therefore sunglasses will protect the eyes from too much direct and reflected sunlight when surrounded by snow. Staring at the sun is also dangerous.

I got my primus windshield through as well and it seems to work fine in conjunction with an Optimus Crux and a nesting pair of Snow Peak titanium pans that is ideal for a couple. However, to reduce wind leakage between the windshield and the pan you have to fit the windshield higher up on the neck of the stove rather than the neck of the canister as indicated in trade photographs and use the edge of the windshield as the means of supporting the pans. This may lead to some unstability but it seems to work at the moment and I am overall happy subject to a proper field test in the near future.
