Arctic Car What's the best color I can choose for my car?
I'm planning of buying a Maruti Swift Dzire ZXi. I have selected some colors. Please help me choose the best color out of these.
I am looking for a rich and royal look for my car. So, help me choose based on this criteria.
Metallic Sovereign Blue
Metallic Silky Silver
Metallic Clear Beige
Metallic Midnight Black
Metallic Arctic White
Metallic Azure Grey
I had omitted Solid Bright Red because it does not give the metallic look.
So, help me choose...
If you think Solid bright red can be good too, you are free to post your opinion.
I would avoid Black because you cant see it at nite (apparently more black cars get into accidents then any other color)
Also avoid white or beige cuz it will get dirty (especially if you live in India). My brother-in-law (live in A'bad) has a white Maurti Wagon R and he is always cleaning it. Also the scratches are more noticeable.
How well can a car hold up in arctic tempratures... like -57 Deg. Fahrenheit?
I'm thinking about driving to the Arctic circle in the winter... just for kicks... so... how well would a regular car hold up in these temperatures?
Well I live in Finland about 100km south of the artic cirkel and I still have all plastic bumpers!
And it's a American car. Amazing!
If your car is winter ready (batt. , cooling system, etc.) you should be just fine.
And the fuel you're buying in those areas is protected against artic temperatures. Even Diesel!

Arctic Green why do plants living in the shade produce red pigment?
some plants that are adapted to living in the shade produce many red pigments, as well as some green chlorophyll pigments, their leaves appear red, why?
also, many plants that live in the Arctic Circle have very dark, almost black leaves, what is the advantage to the plants having such pigmentation
Some plants that live in areas where bright red and blue light can't reach rely on longer waves of light. Examples are the begonia, which grows naturally in deeply forested areas and has red leaves with a green edge, and seaweeds that grow in the deep water of the ocean. These plants rely more on the other pigments to gather other light spectrum colors and feed the energy to the chlorophyll

Dark leaves allow the plant to absorb more heat from the sun in the cold arctic climate

What do you think of the Lollapalooza 2010 lineup?
Just curious. I thought last year was much better. Vampire Weekend, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kaiser Chiefs, Miike Snow, Passion Pit, Ra Ra Riot, and Janes Addiction. I couldn't even go last year! haha.
This year the only ones I'd really love to see are MGMT, The Strokes, Foxy Shazam, Green Day, and Lady Gaga because she puts on a hell of a show.
So, opinions?
Last year was so much better come on MGMT they are great live
but I will say Passion Pit is amazing live I saw them and was blown away and Miike Snow too he is good but I herd Vampire Weekend is no good live
Arctic Poster How do I make an igloo out of cotton balls?
I know this sounds kind of silly but I have a poster board due on Wednesday and its about the arctic indians and if you guys and girls would just make a list of instructions about how to make an igloo out of cotton balls then I will give you ten points!!!
Okay first get a whole bunch of styrofoam (and of course cottonballs) glue and a bunch of metal wire. Cut out a large square of styroam and put it on the surface you're using. This will be your base. Then take the wire and shape it into the shape of an igloo. This will be the frame of the igloo. Then glue the cotton balls around the wire frame. I just came up with this idea so I don't know if it's right but it's worth a shot! Hope I helped!
Famous for demonstrating how less is more when it comes to publicity, it comes as no surprise that The Age of the Understatement, the first side project from Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys, should appear to no great fanfare...

What's a good place to purchase Band Posters?
Do you know where I could find A4 Posters for bands such as: Modest Mouse, Arctic Monkeys, Of Montreal, The Black Keys, Death Cab for Cutie, WhiteStripes.. so on..
Is there any stores which specialise in this, or any websites?
They have some great artwork for their posters on google images, but I can't seem to find any stores/websites.. I'm thinking about decorating my wall :]
I live in England, so shipping is to be considered if it's a website from abroad.
Thankyou, any help will be taken into consideration :]
