you know the plastic pots that you can keep money in when on holiday and by the pool. they are on a long string and you wear them around your neck. anyone know what they are called

What am I doing wrong with my underground electric fence?
So here's my setup - From the transmitter in my garage, I ran twisted wire through the wall and spliced it to the twisted wire that runs the length of my house (just spliced one twisted wire to one twisted wire, and the other wire to the other one, so two splices)....I ran twisted wire along the lenght of my house to cancel the signal there. At each end of the house, the wire 3 way splices with a single wire, which runs the perimeter of my yard. After spending hours setting it up, I plugged in the transmitter and turned it on. The indicator light indicated a full circuit, so I figured I was golden. However, the collar picks up no stimulation whatsoever...no beeps or shocks at all. Does anyone know what I did wrong? I used waterproof splice holders at all splice areas.
actually I have less splices than most of the diagrams in the manual show...so I don't think that is it.

1. after how many km (yamaha G5) should i: change engine oil ? clean Carburetor ? change plugs ?
2. while cleaning the bike with water, will it do any harm if i spray water-jet to clean the carburetor area ? (externally of course)

4. during 1st 2km ride in the morning, choke is needed. after adding octane booster it needs choke for only .5km,how dos the booster reduced choke requirment

it is for the door opener,if you got the owners manual it tells in it how to do this ,some of the early ones didn't last to long so even after you program this one it may not work or not last all that long,it may not recognize the code for your door,good luck.

The transducers are needed for a high-school-level laboratory set-up/experiment. I need 40 such transducers. The required frequency response is very low: DC-5Hz. The transducers need to be simple to operate.
Various springs (flat or helical) deflect linearly with load and resistance of certain wires (nichrome, etc.) varies linearly with length. If your experiment allows or expects large deflections you may be able to combine the spring/resistors into a circuit that calibrates force/deflection/resistance-reading suitable for measurement on an ohmmeter or perhaps a strip chart recorder.
