Trail Sled What is the perfect all around sled? ( snowmobile? )?
i love jumping my sleds and boon docking and hill climbing and skipping water and i drive the trails and sometimes pulls stuff but my sled right now is the Arctic cat zl 500 and it is a 99 i will eventually in a few years or sooner is possible buy a better sled and i want one meant mainly for jumping and boon docking and hill climbing and water skipping etc, i don't drive trails like a normal person only to get to point a - b then i ride when i get there, and it would be nice if the sled was good on gas, i was thinking of the arctic cat m1000 turbo or the MXZ renegade 800? what would you pick out of the 2 i said and my sled, and tell me what you would pick for all around riding? and what is my sled mainly for?
Out of your 2 choices given I would go with the m1000 turbo. If you are looking for what I would consider the ultimate all-around machine check out the yamaha fx nytro rtx. The sled you have now is considered to be mainly a groomed trail machine, not to say it can't be used for other purposes though.
Extra Large looking for extra large hard cover scrap book plain?
I am looking for a extra large (like the old storytelling books) with a hardcover (leather) and plain paper for ideas, scrapbooking, planning, a bit of everthing. The one I have in mind is like the ones they use in wizard films etc. I want it as a gift for my wife to use for all her renovation plans, ideas etc for our home. Where can I find one????

I need mesurements for an extra large dog cuz i might buy this dog at a shelter, they say it is XL, but i want to know what they mean by extra large, it is a golden/lab, and they're both pretty huge.
Neither Golden retrievers and Labrador Retrievers are extra large dogs. They are both just large, around 23-25 inches or a little more at the shoulders, and about 80-100 pounds. An extra large dogs is around 30 inches or more at the shoulders and more than 125 pounds.
Cat Pit I am moving in with a friend who has two pit bulls and 2 cats. How do I make my cat feel comfortable? ?
I have adopted my cat from a shelter and he was used to cats. He has lived with me for 8 months and has been the only animal living with me. I am moving out today and I am not sure how to introduce him to a new living enviornment AND more animals. Help!
I would confine your cat to your bedroom with a litterbox and food and water at first. He will be scared of his new environment and keeping him in your room with you will take the stress off of him a little. Let the cats meet under the door. Your cats will be aware he is there. Then try introducing him to the other cats while in a cat carrier. The two pit bulls are another concern. Dont know what their temperment is. Do they tolerate cats well?? Are they gentle or aggressive?? The dogs could meet him through the carrier too but I would keep the dogs on a leash and let them see him from a few feet away and get used to the idea of the new cat and his smell. When the cat seems comfortable in your room and acts like he wants out of your room you can then crack the door and let him come out on his own. There will probably be some hissing and maybe a little cat slapping at first until they establish themselves within the group. Just keep an eye on the bigger dogs and your cat. That concerns me more than the other cats. They may not all love one another but they can learn to tolerate one another. I wouldnt be in a huge hurry to throw them all in the mix together as this is a huge adjustment for your cat.
i have (had) a pet cat and my neighbors pit bull killed her...?
we live in los angeles, in an apartment complex and my neighbors have 2 unregistered pit bulls that aren't neutered or spade. they are illegally breeding pit bulls and they let their dogs go to attack my cat. my cat did not survive and as for animal control, they said they can not help because this happened in an apartment complex. i fell that this is unfair and unjust. is there anything i can do? any legal action i can take. this owner is clearly not sane and whats worse is that we live across the street from a school.
Animal control should take care of this, but you need to file a police report. Any dog that bites anyone or kills another pet should always be reported.
I would also file a civil lawsuit for your loss.
You are correct, once a pit has started killing it will not stop. It could have easily killed you if you had tried to protect your cat. That is how so many children are killed by pit bulls, they are trying to protect another pet from them.

Sometimes I kick a little dirt over it. Or eat it. At least I like to smell my own poo and have a little lick. Especially when it's hot and fresh. If I don't eat it all I just leave it for some other dog to come along and finish it up.
