Did anyone watch the Memorial for the coal miners who died in W.Virginia?
It was at least 2 hours long Sunday, and it was mostly a Christian ceremony. Obama and
Biden were both in attendance. Do you think they objected to the Christian songs, the
minister's Christian message, the miner's helmets being hung on Christian crosses, prayers
to God for the families healing, the presentation of the American and Christian flags, and
the singing of the Star Spangled Banner? I think they got a glimpse of this being a
Christian nation, which Obama has denied.
Only Christians think that America is a Christian Nation.

The primary purpose of banners in churches has always been processions, be it inside or outside of the church building. However, in recent time, the importance of banners has moved towards the permanent or transient display on the walls and pillars of churches and other places of worship.

Protest Banners
Banners are always used to convey something. If used to praise something they become adverstising banners and if used against something become Protest banners. Such banners are used or carried by people who are demonstrating about something or during a protest march usually at the head of the procession.
