Yellow Cordura
Change the color of fabric using the sun and filters?
I have a royal blue backpack. I have a piece of cordura with a slightly "greener" color tone, which I'd like to use as a patch.
Is there a way to fade the fabric to make it match the color?
Like filtering the sunrays with a yellow plastic and so fading the yellow of the fabric?
Your idea is good in theory, but would only work if the color was made up of more than one dye and the correct color you want was one of those dyes. This is very unlikely. Also, you may damage the structure of the material if you try sunfading.
Dyeing the patch in some fashion may work better. Why not put several patches on the backpack in a pattern and make a statement with your art.

I want to buy a HMF Pipe for my Polaris Outlaw? What if I dont put a bigger jet in the carb? Will that hurt it?
It says it should upgrade to a 155. It has a 145 main in it from factory. Will it hurt it?
It will run a little lean,... hot combustion chamber & exhaust gas temps, hard on valves/seats plugs, piston, could run water hot. -Will it hurt it? Not in the very short-term, but if you plan to sell it someday you will not get what you want for a thrashed machine.

is it ok to remove the restrictor on my reed valve?
i have a 1994 polaris sportsman 4X4 2 stroke. the carburetor was leaking my $3 gas + oil mix from the bowl seal. while i was in there, i thought i would check the reeds.
found a white piece, probably from the factory that reduced the size of the hole, allowing less air to pass. is it ok to remove this piece? will i see a power increase?
obviously polaris saw a need to produce and install this part. tell me what you know!
Usually with a stock engine it will run better with the plastic insert. the insert increases velocity and better matches the stock carb and pipe. If you modify the engine with a carb and pipe then it may run better with the insert removed.
You have to try it each way to find out. Re-jetting may be needed too.

which is a better paintball mask jt elite head shield or a v-force armor mask?
i need a new paintball mask and i dont no which 1 2 get
I'm a bigger fan of V-Force, and have never had any problems with my Shield, but I am looking to upgrade to their Grill, or at least the Profilers.
They are easy to change lenses, very breathable, good vision, and it's tough to fog them up.
