Kids Large Colour

What plantings will add coverage and color on a fence line?
I am looking for plantings that will add not only near full or near full coverage, but also add color on fenceline that grow pretty quickly. I have a very large chain link fenced in yard, but neighbors on both sides and I would like the yard to have natural privacy.
I am keeping the fence up because I have two small dogs and kids that play in the yard.
there are a lot of options.
there are plenty of flowering vines that will take over the fence line offering privacy as well as looking nice.
There is holly that in most forms stays green all year as well as some forms have bright red berries, which offer a burst of color that looks nice.
also there is a form of sunflower called a Mexican sunflower that will grow to about 6' tall and 4' wide that are covered in smaller bright flowers that are perfect for cutting.
look around, and check with your local garden center or nursery, they will know what grows well in your area.
good luck.

I never print in colour on my HP 840C. How can it print text in black or near black from the colour cartridge?
The ink in my HP 840C colour cartridge just sits there, as I print out only text. Can I tell the printer to mix coloured inks from this cartridge to print in BLACK from the colour cartridge? Kids mix paints to get a kind of black when they are painting pictures. I wonder if the printer can do the same, to print out black text without using the black cartridge. I would use this only for draft printing, not for final printing of text, so it wouldn't matter if the result was not a pure black. If the printer will not mix colours to result in black, or "blackish" text printing, how can I type in black on my monitor (Windows XP) but print out in a colour, to save wasting the expensive ink in the colour cartridge?
And, finally, is it possible to refill the large colour cartridge with black ink, or can I buy a black ink cartridge to replace the colour cartridge, which is only half the size of the black cartridge. This would be handy, because the black cartridge quickly runs out of ink.
If your text is black, your colour cartridges will work out the permutations and print it as seen - black. With respect to the last answer, I would not check 'black' as the printer will print from the black cartridge, which I assume you do not wish to do.
Refilling the 'black' cartridge is fairly straightforward but very messy. Well worth a try. You will find instructions with the 'refill' ink.
