i want to get an performance exhaust and reeds for my polaris sl780 jet ski, but don't know where to get them. i also want other performance parts. so if anyone knows a site that sell a lot of polaris performance parts it would be greatly appreciated.
Try these site, and remember that polaris does not make Jet Ski. Do your search for Polaris water craft.
Hello. After riding a belt driven ATV (Polaris Sportsman 500) for about an hour, there is a strange noise coming from the belt cover area. It seems as though plastic is grading against something else inside. This is a very difficult problem to address but the sound can be described as a rock bouncing around the belt cover area. This noise only occurs when a little throttle is pushed in. Idling is fine, performance does not seem to be affected. Any sugestions on what this could be? And could this serve potential harm to the engine? Thank you!
i dont think it will damage the engine .. it might hurt your torque converter if somthing is coming loose, your best bet is to take the cover off that goes over the belt, i dont own a sportsman but i doubt its more then 8 bolts holding it on, being you have to replace the belt every few months anyways , might just need a new belt the old one could be torn up
Polaris Performance Problems with a '00-'01 Polaris ATV (Scrambler 90cc)?
Ok so I've had this ATV for about 8/9 years and as the years have gone on I've noticed its performance has gotten weaker. Now its at the point where i push the throttle/gas all the way and it like hesitates to move (goes a little bit then stops/goes weak) and then it keeps doing that and if i hold the throttle down maximum and dont let it go for a while, it will shut off. So why isn't it moving? It just hesitates and stops hesitates and stop, till like once in a while it'll work, then it'll do the hesitating thing agian HELP PLEASE!! (btw its automatic transmission)
You should get a new bike and if you do go with a Yamaha raptor 90
And it is not a good idea to full throttle an automatic from a dead stop it ruins the atv.
