Racing Snowmobile What size snowmobile should i buy?
Hi all, I'm thinking about buying a snowmobile for next winter but I'm having some trouble deciding what engine displacement i should try and get. I'm a medium experienced rider, 5'11 and 210 pounds, will be looking for an engine that can deliver good power for racing on fields and also something that is sort of controllable for a small bit of trail riding, also it would be nice if you could give me a rough price range, i will be looking for a used sled in fair condition.

I would advise a 600. Several of the frends I ride with have them and they are good overall sleds. They are a 600 so they have quite a bit of speed, you can probably get around 100 mph on one if you had good conditions. Also, a 600 can get you through powder if it needs to. 700s and 800s getto be too heavy to lug around and they can get a lot more pricy. A 600 will probably run you abount $2000-$2700 depending on how nice you go.

One of the main activities is to find the ACSCC enjoys snowmobiles and equipment that were built during the time when the industry began snowmobiling.
