The best known word in the Black Country is the word "bostin" which means great or excellent to many.
It's used a lot with the word "fittle", which means literally "food fit for human consumption".
However, it is not clear where the word "bostin" comes from exactly. It may well be from the preacher Wyclif's word "worthy of boast", though he was criticising boastfulness.

I am seeking child support from the father of my three month old son. His father married a woman in the Coast Guard when I was four months pregnant.He is unemployed and his wife claims as a dependent. Is her income imputed when calculating the amount for child support?
No, it is not. I believe all US states are the same on this point, but from my understanding from the state I am in, child support is computed based only on the income of the biological parents (or legal guardian if the parent(s) are deceased) of the underage child in question. They use ratios and other things to get the exact amount. There are maximum limits on such too (up to a certain percentage of his gross income, and if he has other children, that matters too.
If you get married to someone other than the father of your child, like he is now married to someone other than you, the spouse's income (his and yours) cannot be used in the computation, regardless of the amount, per state law.
If you work out some sort of private agreement with the father of your child and you both involve the gentleman's spouse and her income (like she will pay XXX per month for him, as long as he is unemployed, then that is another matter, and it must be handled legally and carefully. If and when he ultimately gets a job, then you can sue for child support through your state's Department of Social Services or work out a private deal on your own. Be warned, a judge may not give you as much as you want, per the guidelines he or she must follow. Good luck and congratulations on your son!

How do guard cells interact with or support the function of other cell types?
When conditions are conducive to stomatal opening (e.g., high light intensity and high humidity), a proton pump drives protons (H+) from the guard cells. This means that the cells' electrical potential becomes increasingly negative. The negative potential opens potassium voltage - gated channels and so an uptake of potassium ions (K+) occurs. To maintain this internal negative voltage so that entry of potassium ions does not stop, negative ions balance the influx of potassium. In some cases chloride ions enter, while in other plants the organic ion malate is produced in guard cells. This in turn increases the osmotic pressure inside the cell, drawing in water through osmosis. This increases the cell's volume and turgor pressure. Then, because of rings of cellulose microfibrils that prevent the width of the guard cells from swelling, and thus only allow the extra turgor pressure to elongate the guard cells, whose ends are held firmly in place by surrounding epidermal cells, the two guard cells lengthen by bowing apart from one another, creating an open pore through which gas can move.
When the roots begin to sense a water shortage in the soil, abscisic acid (ABA) is released. ABA binds to receptor proteins in the guard cells' plasma membrane and cytosol, which first raises the pH of the cytosol of the cells and cause the concentration of free Ca2+ to increase in the cytosol due to influx from outside the cell and release of Ca2+ from internal stores such as the endoplasmic reticulum and vacuoles[4]. This causes the chloride (Cl-) and inorganic ions to exit the cells. Secondly, this stops the uptake of any further K+ into the cells and subsequentally the loss of K+. The loss of these solutes causes a reduction in osmotic pressure, thus making the cell flaccid and so closing the stomatal pores.
Interestingly, guard cells have more chloroplasts than the other epidermal cells from which guard cells are derived. Their function is controversial.

You cant do anything until after the child is born. You then have to establish paternity. He can either volunteer or you go to the local child support office and file for support from the "supposed" father. They then order him to get a paternity test.
