Snow Mobile--Ski-Doo Bombardier 1975, coil not getting power, what do I do?
hi, I have a ski-doo bombardier snowmobile, the year is 1975, it runs but only on one coil, the right coil is not running, i tried changing coils but that did nothing, it doesent have enough power to even push the sled, but when i lift up the back, the track spins. I tried 3 coils already. non work, the coils are fine, ther brandnew but i dont know why its not running, help me please!
Take it to a service center and have a pro do the work.
Color Ski Snowboard What color lens in goggles is best for snowy weather and/or flat light?
I've used goggles with clear lenses for many, many years. I originally got them for night skiing, but now I find those are my choice for day time too. It seems like the mountain where I ski and snowboard has had many snowy days this year and very few sunny days. The goggles I have are falling apart. My eyes tear still even when I have them on. I've heard there are some lenses that are very light greyish tint with a reflective finish on the outside, but I don't remember what that color is called. Also, I don't have a ton of extra money to spend. Thanks.
Well, i was going to say High Intensity or Grey Polarized Lenses from Oakley until the park about extra money. The High intensity lenses are very clear, but at the same time have a bit of a reflective surface. people can see through them, but they will also see a bunch of random reflections, but it wont be like the iridium lenses.
Persimmon is probably the best choice for all around light. And theyre usually cheap.

My step father wants to by my daughter an Arctic Kitty Cat Snowmobile, they are harder to find then what we thought, other than Ebay, where else could we find a nice condition snowmobile..
Finding one, dunno, but I will say they are really cool. Getting the kids involved at a young age, and them learning to ride their own machine will pay dividends later on.
why does my 1975 arctic cat lynx 250 twin snowmobile backfire after its good and warm I have no power at all?
it has a new 32 mm mikuni carb it calls for a 30 mm any ideas why its doing this wgat jets should i change and richer or leaner please help me with this problem
I'd say its too lean. Check the plugs. If they are rusty or red color, that means too lean of a mixture. What you want is a nice tan color. If they are black and sooty that means the mixture is too rich. Adjusting the airfuel mixture is more of a screw setting and not a jet change. If it runs good without breaking up at top end then don't touch the jets. You need to adjust the airfuel mixture screw. Bogging at low end means you need to adjust the slide needle.
