First been created in 1952 near Grenoble in France, the Moncler jacket label has a long history in producing ski wear. Lightweight Underwear Where can I purchase very lightweight long underwear?
My boyfriend has some very lightweight - think athletic undershirt type material - long underwear that he just LOVES. However, he's had them so long that the knees have worn through & they are in danger of falling apart. He has looked everywhere & just can't find them. I was wondering if anyone knows of a catalog or store or online merchant where I can get some & surprise him - maybe for Christmas???
REI, backcountry.com (cheap!), moosejaw.com (hilarious and fun), or you can support your local climbing/hiking shop. The latter option will usually cost a bit more, but you will get the best advice/customer service and support your local community. As far as good underwear goes, REI's silk long johns are always a great choice, but my favorites are the Pata-Gucci (Patagonia) Capilene base layer fabrics. Awesome!!
P.S.: From your description, it sounds like he had some Underarmor, which is a standard athletic material widely available at any sporting goods, athletic retailer, or staright from the company themselves; underarmor.com. Remember, choose the material based on the kind of activity he plans on using them for.
Anyone know anything online I can get like V-Neck tee's not the shirts for undershirt wearing with underwear but something casual to wear nothing lightweight or really soft to show your muscles but something not too fancy but I guess you can still wear it for fancy occasions. I can't find any on google?

Are there any breathable quick dry type of socks for hiking / camping / outdoor?
I know there are underwear and pants and shirts made by ExoFFICIO company that are quick drying, wicking, odor resistant, lightweight and breathable. But I can not find these in socks.
You must not be looking very hard. There are dozens of styles of socks that meet those characteristics. Look at models by Smart Wool, ThorLo, Fox River, Dahlgren and WigWam. Blends of various combinations of acrylic, wool, silk, alpaca and polypropylene are available. Personally, I prefer a medium weight washable wool sock for hiking, walking and kayaking, year round. Wool wicks beautifully, maintains it's loft even when damp, dries from the inside out from your body heat, naturally resists odor, is very breathable and provides the best warmth to weight ratio, in my opinion. Some of the acrylic blends are also great and dry very quickly. Check Sierra Trading Post and Campmor.com for good deals on closeouts of some of the sock styles by these manufacturers.
I admit I am a bit of a sock freak -- I probably have at least 40 pairs of various hiking socks.
