Black Grey Helmet Does your bicycling helmet's color match the color of your bike?
I bought a new red bike and a blue helmet. Now that I've spent a couple of days looking at it, I don't like the colour mismatch. Should I exchange the helmet for a black or dark-grey colour?

I care what colour they are: I want superficial chicks to know that I know how to style. Angela -- are you hot?
I think it's a good match as it is, but then again what do I know. If you don't like it then go with a black lid. Black matches everything.
we have gray football facemasks for our helmets and need black facemasks.. what company redips them?
in a small community and we're changing over to black facemasks. we have 75 gray ones. we don't have enough money to buy that many black masks and still have all the gray ones left over. can anyone help? we've tried painting them. not working at all!!
Professional Redipping Inc. does that stuff. I don't know where they're located but look them up on their www site.
I just bought a modular home and the electic company turned on the electric today but when I got to the house the electric wasnt working , I flipped every breaker I could find and even had a neighbor come over and try but I got NOTHING . When I called the electric company back they told me it wasnt thier problem and to call a electrician but I dont have the money . Any ideas on how I could fix this or what the problem could be , we are not getting a reading on the meter but I figured its because its not getting power . I doubt it is an electrical problem because the house is only 4 years old and the last owner didnt have any problems ...........
Is the main breaker on your house turned on? Not the one on the pole or above the meter but the box that is mounted where the lines go into either the garage or house.

First off, there is a main switch which is totally seperate from the breaker box. My breaker box is in the basement. My main switch is in the garage(basically behind the meter) Throw that switch (it is just a lever to get power into the fuse/breaker box.
Can you wear a modular helmet in the open (flipped up) position while riding?
I don't mean like highway riding or anything but just slow speeds in the city?
I have seen both yes and no answers on the net (most saying no, that the flip is meant to only be in the down position unless the bike is at a full stop). It's blazingly hot right now, and I prefer the half helmets but I am going to be leaving later for the highway without coming back home. I want to just throw on the modular and ride without the front down while in the city and be able to just flip it down when I hit the highway.
Oh forgot... it's an HJC (the 300.00 range one, I can't remember the style name)
DOT does not consider it to even be a helmet when wore in the open position. It does not cover the jaw like an open (3/4) helmet would. Also the chin/visor of the helmet basically is a sail putting pressure on your neck. So even in a low speed city crash you risk major neck injury. The best advice is open your vents in your helmet. Normally along the chin and on top of the helmet. Also wear some type of eye protection. When you have proper eye wear, it is safe to open the visor (not the entire chin) of the helmet. So opening the chin on a helmet on public roads also breaks helmet laws because DOT only considers it a helmet closed.
