What clothing should I get being a new snowboarder?
Do you have any suggestions for cheap but still good clothing? At the moment, 150+ seems a bit pricey for me XD I mainly need snow pants, goggles and a helmet btw.
I think I will go to a snowboarding shop and check out sizes first then order online. It's good to know what I need. Thanks!
Alright lets go from head to toe (:
1) Your gonna need beanie. There are sooo many different kinds i have like 6 ha. But it needs to be tight knit so water doesnt get through. 10-70$
2) Goooggles... Goggles Are very important. They block wind, snow, rain, and your friends rooster tail or snow plow :/ Oakleys are my favorite but soooo expensive. You can get a lot of goggles cheap though. Like Scott ones. 20-200$
3) What i wear for torso clothes is just a regular long sleeve or under armor shirt then a sweatshit then my snowboard jacket ( It gets cold here ha) So you can use any longsleeve and sweatshirt you have but your gonna need a niiice jacket. Tight, closed seems with a tight zipper, and water resistant/water proof Snowoard jackets are supposed to be big on you. But not down to your knees (; Snow skirts are good to have on your jacket. They keep snow from getting down your neck and up your shirt. They come on your jacket on the inside. 50-300+
4) Pants. I wear jeans or sweat pants then just straight up my snow pants. Mine were like 90 dollars and worth it. They NEED TO BE snowboard/ski pants. Regular ole snowpants wear out. Tight seems and snow skirts are real important. Lots of pockets are nice to. Its nice if there are zippers on the bottom part of the leg so they go on your boots easier. 70-300+
5) I just wear wool socks. Do NOT wear regular cotton socks they get wet and nasty. Wear wool or another material like that. They need to be long or they will go down in your boot. 10-100
Well thats perty much it. Besides your boots and the optional ski mask (;

Spirit High Ideas for high school seniors for spirit week?
What are some things for seniors to do during spirit week. Give me some idea, or just what you did as seniors. We are probably going to hang a senior banner accross the entire high school, but we wanted some more ideas.
•Whether you're organizing spirit week activities for an elementary school, junior high or high school, devise a different theme for each day to keep the students involved and engaged. Choose ideas that give the kids an opportunity to dress up, hold contests and participate in class competitions to show their camaraderie and school spirit.
Pajama Day
•Invite the students to roll out of bed and remain in their pajamas throughout the school day. Design spirit week posters that feature the school name or words to school cheers painted on 22-by-28-inch white poster board cut with scissors into fluffy cloud shapes. Organize a baby photo game that requires students to match the teachers with their baby photos posted on the cafeteria, gymnasium or library wall.
Spring Fling
•Center the day's activities around a floral theme if spirit week falls in the spring. Encourage the students to dress up in flower-covered shirts, pants and accessories such as floral hats and jewelry. Organize a spirit week fundraiser by selling fresh carnations to students so they can present the blooms to friends, teachers or secret crushes. Hold a campus improvement activity by inviting students to decorate inexpensive plastic pots with paints, glitter glue or stickers in school colors. Place flowers in the pots to brighten the look of the school library or classrooms.
Backwards Day
•Shake up the day by letting the kids wear their clothing backwards. Instruct the school cafeteria to sell breakfast foods for lunch or invite the kids to eat their desserts first. Switch the order of daily activities, such as reading morning announcements at the end of the day. Adventurous teachers can give the class a backwards assignment that allows the kids to teach a lesson and give the teacher a homework assignment.
Costume Party
•Let the students celebrate Halloween early by dressing up as characters from favorite books to show how much they've learned in reading or English literature class. Organize a costume parade at lunch to let the kids show off their literary outfits and present prizes such as bookstore gift cards or homework passes to the students with the best outfits. Set up class competitions such as a book relay race that requires the kids to walk across the blacktop and back while balancing two to three textbooks on their heads before handing the books off to the next teammate in line.
Mascot Day
•Encourage the students to show school spirit on the last day of the week by wearing school colors and bringing toys or stuffed animals that represent the school mascot. Award a prize such as a pizza party to the classroom or grade level that has the most students wearing the colors and award a certificate to one student from each grade level with the most imaginative use of colors. Hold competitions to determine which classroom or grade can shout a school cheer the loudest or paint the most creative poster featuring the school or mascot name
** My fav is mascot day... good luck and have fun xx

Do you believe that there is a lack of school spirit in high schools across America?
It varies from school to school. My HS had a ton of school spirit.
I love how people just say "join the navy", as if it is as simple as going to your local recruiter's office and saying "I'm here, where do you keep the fast jets?". Becoming a naval aviator is one of the most difficult endeavors one could undertake, and most who try never make it. But, obviously some do make it. I am not in the navy, but I was once, and although I was not a naval aviator, I do know what is required to become one.
Let's assume that you meet the physical requirements (height, weight, eyes, ears, etc.) To be a naval aviator, you must be a commissioned officer. To get a commission in the US Navy, you absolutely must have a 4 year college degree, no exceptions. A degree in any major is acceptable, however preference is given to candidates with degrees in scientific or technical fields, such as engineering, math, physics, etc. However there are pilots flying with a degree in history or english as well. You could go to the US Naval Academy (very stringent admission standards), where you would get your college education along with your military training, or go to a civilian university. If you get your degree from a civilian college, you must then apply for and be accepted into a commissioning program such as AOCS (aviation officer candidate school) or, you can do your military training while in college by participating in the university NROTC program, if it is offered at the school you are attending. Be aware, however, that once you begin your junior year in NROTC, you will incur a military obligation to the Navy, and if you do not qualify for flight training, you must still fulfill your obligation as an officer in the Navy, but in a non-flight capacity. Whereas if you graduate first and then apply specifically to AOCS, you will be on a flight track commissioning program from the start. Aside from the education requirements, you must demonstrate leadership qualities, decision making capabilities, high moral character, and other attributes associated with being a commissioned officer. If you make it through college and your commissioning program, you would then go to approximately 2 years of basic and advanced flight training. The aircraft you will be trained to fly will depend on several factors, including your wishes, but the needs of the Navy will always have priority. You may want to fly the fast jets, but the Navy might have you flying an E-2 hawkeye, or helicopter. Military flight training is second to none, and if you are lucky enough to get it, you will need to commit a minimum of 10 years to the Navy in exchange for the flight training.
Becoming a Naval Aviator is very challenging, and will take years and a lot of hard work and trying just to get a foot in the door, but if you do, it can be very rewarding.

Fighter jet pilot, I need to know what high school courses I need to continue on?
i need to know what classes in highschool i need to become a fighter jet pilot, i know i need math 30 pure and possibly physics 30, is physics 30 and chemistry 30 manditory to have to become a pilot?
To become a fighter pilot you have to be a military officer, which means you must have a college degree. You best chance of becoming a fighter pilot is to go through the Air Force Academy or the Naval Academy (you can also go through West Point and then take an Air Force or Navy commission). The acceptance standards for the service academies are higher than a regular college. At the Academies, even though you can major in a variety of subjects, the core course requirements for all cadets/midshipmen are heavily engineering/science/math oriented. Not only would you get the best college education, but also you have a more straight shot to flight training. True, ROTC grads can become pilots but the odds are better as an Academy grad.
That being said, you also need to understand that there is more to it than just becoming a fighter pilot. You are a military officer with a certain term of commitment in the military. You not only have flying duties but other duties required when you are not flying. Plus, there is the prospect of going into combat. It's not just about the joys of flying a fast jet.
Black Motorcycle Street I want to get a pink and black street sport motorcycle. Where do I start?
1. Can I design my own bike somewhere? Through what manufacturer?
2. I want to be able to get matching accessories too.
3. I'm pretty short (4'11''). I need one I can fit. (no, I don't want to get a toy bike)
Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thanks
I am a female and I don't think it's gay at all.
since your 4'11" i would go with either kawasaki or suzuki. they both have the lowest seat heights. for color design it yourself, and have a shop paint it for you. that will be easiest, but for the gear check out rideicon.com. they carry gear in pink.

2 black tube sticking out bottom of motorcycle.help!?
i have 2007 gsxr 600, i was driving on the street and sudden i either ran over plastic or some plastic thing flew from the bottom of motorcycle. and after i got off and i checked bottom there was 2 black tube sticking it out across the exhaust. i touched it and it had like black powder thing. something wrong right?
One is the vent hose for the fuel tank.
The other is the drain from the gas cap.
Open the gas cap and you'll see a tiny hole - if you were to spill any gas when filling up, it will drain out of that hole, down and out of the tube to the ground.
They should be routed so they don't touch the exhaust and if anything drained out, it wouldn't drain onto the hot exhaust.
